When Will BISE Lahore 12th Class Result 2026 Be Announced?
The BISE Lahore 2nd Year Result 2026 is currently being reported for 23 September 2026 at 10:00 AM along with the other Punjab Boards.
Several current education-result sources are carrying this schedule for the nine Punjab boards.
However, there is an important point students should know.
An earlier Punjab Boards Committee of Chairpersons notification available through the BISE Lahore website listed 22 October 2026 as the tentative HSSC Part-II result date. Because the published schedules are not consistent, students should rely on the latest notification from their board before treating the date as final.
For this reason, this page should be updated whenever BISE Lahore publishes a new official result notification.
Current result schedule

1. Check BISE Lahore Result by Roll Number
Checking by roll number is the most direct method.
Follow these steps:
- Visit the official BISE Lahore result website.
- Select Intermediate.
- Select the relevant examination type.
- Choose the year 2026.
- Enter your roll number.
- Complete the captcha if required.

The official BISE Lahore result portal currently provides separate options for Matric and Intermediate results and asks students to enter their roll number, exam type and year.
Open the official BISE Lahore result portal
2. Check BISE Lahore 12th Result by Name
Some result services also provide name-based searching, although the official board’s primary result system is centered around the examination roll number.
If name search is available:
- Open the BISE Lahore result page.
- Select the 12th class or Intermediate result.
- Choose the 2026 examination.
- Enter the student’s name.
- Enter the father’s name if requested.
- Submit the search.
- Match the result carefully with the student’s details.
If you have your roll number, however, roll-number searching is preferable because it is more specific.
BISE Lahore 12th Class Result 2026 by SMS
Students who have slow internet access or cannot open the result website can use the SMS method.
The BISE Lahore SMS result code is 800291 according to current result listings.
How to check your result through SMS
- Open the SMS or messaging application on your mobile phone.
- Type your roll number.
- Send the message to 800291.
- Wait for the reply containing your result information.
Important SMS tip
Keep your roll number ready before the result is announced. Thousands of students may try to access result services at the same time, so the online portal can become slow.
If the website does not load, SMS can be a useful alternative.
BISE Lahore 12th Class Result Gazette 2026
The BISE Lahore result gazette is another way to check results after the board makes it available.
A result gazette generally contains the results of a large number of candidates in one document. It can be useful for schools, teachers and students who want to check multiple results.
To check the gazette:
- Visit the official BISE Lahore website.
- Look for the Intermediate result or gazette section.
- Open the relevant 2026 gazette when it is published.
- Download the PDF.
- Use Ctrl + F on a computer to search for a roll number or name.
Do not download a supposed “official gazette” from an unknown website unless you can verify that it originated from BISE Lahore.
The board has previously published Intermediate result gazettes through its official result infrastructure.
BISE Lahore Result Portal
The official BISE Lahore result system allows students to select Intermediate and enter their roll number, examination type and year.
Check BISE Lahore Result Online
On result day, students should preferably use the official board website rather than relying only on third-party result websites.
Which Areas Come Under BISE Lahore?
BISE Lahore serves students from four main districts:
- Lahore
- Kasur
- Sheikhupura
- Nankana Sahib
The BISE Lahore website identifies these areas among the board’s examination jurisdiction and also lists the other Punjab examination boards separately.
Students should check their college or examination documents if they are unsure which board is responsible for their result.
For example, students from Okara normally fall under BISE Sahiwal, while students from Narowal fall under BISE Gujranwala.
BISE Lahore 12th Class Result 2026 Passing Marks
Students are understandably confused about the change from the old 33% passing standard to the new 40% grading policy.
The Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) says Pakistan’s new grading system is being introduced in phases. The first phase began with Grade 9 and Grade 11 in 2026, while the complete transition is planned in stages through 2028.
Therefore, students should not automatically apply the new 40% rule to every 2026 HSSC Part-II candidate.
The applicable passing and grading rules should be checked against the student’s board-issued result card and the latest BISE/IBCC instructions.
IBCC also explains that the new system changes the grading structure from the previous seven-grade system to a 10-point system and raises the passing percentage to 40% under the new scheme.
Why students are seeing different information online
Many websites have copied older information or applied the new grading policy to all classes at once.
That can create confusion.
For a 12th-class student, the safest approach is to check:
- The BISE Lahore result card.
- The latest BISE Lahore notification.
- Current IBCC instructions.
- Your college’s admission requirements where applicable.
This is more reliable than depending on an old percentage table published on another website.
BISE Lahore 12th Class Result 2025
The previous BISE Lahore 12th class result is useful as historical information, but it should not be confused with the 2026 result.
The 2025 result was announced on 18 September 2025, and several current education sources report an overall pass percentage of 60.86% for that result.
The 2025 figure can provide some context, but it does not predict an individual student’s 2026 result.
Your marks depend on your own examination performance.
What If the BISE Lahore Result Website Is Not Working?
Result day can be extremely busy because thousands of students try to access the portal at the same time.
If the website is slow, try these options:
- Wait a few minutes and try again.
- Use the official result portal instead of repeatedly refreshing several pages.
- Check your result through SMS.
- Make sure your roll number is correct.
- Try a different internet connection.
- Check the board’s official website for an updated notice.
Avoid entering personal information into unofficial websites that claim to provide “instant” results.
What Should You Do After Checking Your Result?
Once your result appears, do not close the page immediately.
Take a screenshot or save the result information for your records. You should also check:
- Your name
- Father’s name
- Roll number
- Subjects
- Marks or grades
- Result status
- Practical marks where applicable
- Any failed or deficient subjects
If something appears incorrect, contact BISE Lahore rather than relying on social-media posts or unofficial advice.
What If You Are Not Satisfied With Your Result?
Receiving a result that is lower than expected can be stressful, but there are official options available.
Apply for Rechecking
BISE Lahore provides rechecking services for eligible examinations. The important distinction is that rechecking does not normally mean having your entire paper re-marked by a new examiner.
IBCC explains that examination boards permit processes such as recounting or re-totaling rather than reassessment of the complete answer script.
Students should check the latest BISE Lahore notice for the applicable deadline, fee and procedure for HSSC Part-II 2026.
If You Have Failed a Subject
If your result shows a deficient or failed subject, do not panic.
Check the result card carefully and then follow the board’s instructions for the next available examination opportunity. The number of subjects, examination category and eligibility requirements can affect what you need to do.
Do not assume that you must repeat the entire 12th class without first checking the official board rules.

Before result day, keep your roll number slip safe, save the official BISE Lahore result page and make sure you know the SMS method as a backup. Most importantly, check information against the board’s latest notification because result dates, procedures and grading rules can change.
Whether your marks are higher than expected or lower than you hoped, take time to understand the result before making your next decision. If you need rechecking or have a deficient subject, use the official board process rather than relying on rumours circulating on social media.
